NACHS was founded in 1997. The Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society is dedicated to presenting, promoting, and preserving Celtic culture. Our goal is to educate the public about the heritage, language, traditions, art, and history of the Celtic people both ancient and modern.

Dissemination of information and financial assistance to support Celtic-related events and opportunities is also a prime purpose of NACHS.

We are a non-profit, 501 (C)3 Corporation.

Upcoming Events

Tartan Day - March 31, 2019
Wear your tartan, and enjoy music and Haggis. More info here.

Diana Gabaldon Tea - April 14, 2019
Diana Gabaldon, immensely cool friend of the Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society, Flagstaff native and talented best selling author of the world of Outlander, will take an afternoon off from finishing her latest edition - titled "Bees" - to regale us with more tales from the world of Claire and Jamie, aka the Outlander.

The event is on Sunday, April 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kilted Cat (2640 W Kiltie Ln., Flagstaff, AZ). Call Jude McKenzie at 928-556-3161 to purchase tickets. Cost is $80 per person. Lots of friends tend to collect together and purchase a table so they can enjoy the event together. Be aware you should act quickly as tickets sell out fast..

Remember, Diana graces us with her presence specifically to aid our ongoing fundraising efforts. As a very active nonprofit, we continuously raise funds to support our mission-related activities like the Arizona Highland Celtic Festival and we also have distributed over $110,000 in scholarships to date to people of all ages and interests who want to study Celtic culture in its many facets.

So, book your tickets and dream up your best tea regalia, meaning dresses and super-creative hats ladies. Gents are welcome too but no-foolin', Diana tends to attract a mostly female crowd to our tea event.
